We have to be (worried) as the US designs, manufactures and ships huge numbers (literally in the hundreds of millions if not more) of electrical/electronics products yearly. The FCC has been known to be worse than the ATF..

The Kurgan doesn't cut the roof of the Chevelle. After his fight with the immortal and impaling the Marine he leaves the scene and cuts the roof of the old couple's car, which he used to exfil the area.Yeah forgot about that,I had seen it before but it never struck me enough to think about it. I do remember watching the Highlander movie and instantly noticed when the guy goes to swing his Samurai sword at the roof of a 1970 Chevelle 2 door and as the sword makes contact they cut film and all of a sudden around the corner comes squealing a roofless 1975 Dodge Dart 4 door...."4 DOORs?. Or Vanishing point ends with a Dodge Challenger crashing into a bulldozer and the burning wreck reveals a Chevy Camaro rear end.@GBassNorth and @Dr_Feelgoood212 wherever you are. You know this.
On Sons of Guns, Stephanie Hayden is shown preparing to shoot a .50 AE Desert Eagle. Somebody oops'ed the editing (or wanted to make her/them look bad) and showed about a second and a half of her shooting a Beretta M92, a 9mm service pistol about 2/3 the size of the Desert Eagle. I hate the circumstances that lead to that show's demise, but I thank God its off the air. We didn't call it Tons of Dumb for nothin'.

San Francisco is small. 7mi x 7mi. As you drive out of the city south on 280, you get into green (or brown in summer) hills very quickly.

Backstory - the car is owned by a collector and in exactly the (rough) condition it was in for that scene. The directer told SM to be there at a certain time and shot it earlier before he got there. (didn't want to risk the actor crashing) Steve was po'd but at least he got to drive while they shot the in-the-car scenes. Is funny to see how many shots show them passing the same green VW bug.

I know some dudes that worked on the movie Black Hawk Down. The discrepancies were pointed out, and they were told "we have to do it like that to convey the story. This is a movie, not a documentary." Its always gonna be like that, even when it doesnt have to be. Directors ignoring the experts happens, too, and is a separate subject.
