I'm just passing it on, my sorry as is lefty or I'd have 4 classics at that priceI think everyone meant they are no longer going to be produced.
You better buy that white one
You see, it really a left limited edition "total reverse" model. They look identical to a righty when held upside down...I'm just passing it on, my sorry as is lefty or I'd have 4 classics at that price
Well I was just gonna look up the best way of getting rid of the dive issue. I wouldn't want to start drilling and find out it doesn't work with the strap locks I haveDone! Welcome minirehak 212 with a nice Epiphone! You're #536 here, share your pics and questions![]()
I tried but playing righty felt so I natural to me. Lefty felt right even before I could play. Man, I'd have sooo many bad ass basses, cheap if I wasn't lefty. For one, I'd have a 76 bird, several classic epis, a Brooklyn era Spector NS2, ect. Everything I have is custom or massively modded. Oah, I'd have a white 70s P bass too!I joke only because I naturally played lefty but switched when i started again a few years back. Took some fumbling through, but it was worth it cuz i still suck![]()
Where did you hear the rumors? I haven't heard anything about it but I am a bit out of the loop lately.
I still have yet to see one of these in person. Did it look any better in person than it does in pictures?
Somebody in the local loop was saying something about the Alpine White being discontinued. I'm only asking because this isn't the first time I've heard this...
I think gotoh gb7's fit IIRCI've grown dissatisfied with my Epi tuning machines. I've contacted Epi/Gibson about them. They responded quickly, but its not clear as to whether they'll replace them under warranty or not. I got to thinking about that. These aren't high end tuners, so it seems as though I'd be better served buying better tuners instead of replacing a low quality part with what may be another low quality part. Is there anything besides the Hipshot Ultralites that I need to be looking at? Also, what size shafts does Epi use?

Maybe they will offer the Classic in a couple of other colors for a while. The white looks fantastic but it would be cool to see a couple of other options as well.
I used Gotoh on my Goth rebuild and had to ream out the holes just a touch for the tuning keys to fit. Used a Dremel with a sanding tube (Not sure what you call those. t's a circular tube of sandpaper about 1/2" tall) to just hit the insides of the tuner holes enough to make the new keys fit. Took very little time and effort. You can do the same thing with a small wood file if you don't have access to a Dremel.
