I'm a bit biased, as I am a Hipshot endorsed artist, but, that being said, I love it. There may not be anything fundamentally wrong with the stock 3-point bridge, but the Hipshot feels more solid, and is much easier to adjust . I also have Ultralites with mini-clovers to help with the notorious neck dive on these.

Derail! You are from Lancaster. My grandparents lived there all but a short time, and my dad grew up there in the 1940s. My uncle was there and was a judge for a very long time in Licking County. Small world. It's a beautiful town.

I don't think it does much to the tone, but the ability to easily intonate is worth it to me. Plus it just looks cool.

Naw, that would be the concern with Debbie Harry. Linda always came across as relatively wholesome by comparison. Of course there was always Stevie Nicks whose personal goal in life was to bed everything on two feet (before, during and after filling her nose with blow).

Hey Fix, along those lines, another great piece of analog goodness.
We had one of these back in Portland. Great sounding simple/easy to use mixing board.
Didn't use it for everything, but sometimes we took it out to live gigs.

Speaking of Linda, if you haven't heard it before her vocal range is possibly tops among the rock babes...

Filmed live on stage, she makes it look pretty easy. There's another version out there from the actual movie where she finishes off at least an octave higher.

Pretty deep. If it was closer, I would be all over that one for that price. But, I already have a six channel mixer that looks to be pretty much the same or very similar. Given a bath, that one might be a little nicer, though. Whoever ends up with it will get a bulletproof, decent sounding mixer with no frills or excess baggage. It probably weighs a ton.

That makes it harder. My dad went about a year and a half ago. It took a while to go through it all. It's inevitable, but that doesn't make it easier. About all you can do is keep on and the sky will get brighter eventually. And, we are here.

Maybe it does. I didn't notice it, but mine sustained pretty good with the stock bridge.
