Thunderbird Club

Don't work so well when you live in the socialist monarchy of Canada
I started ordering 10 packs of Ptouch compatible label tape from Amazon.ca for work projects a couple of years ago. The first shipment took 6 weeks on a boat from China. The next couple of orders took about 2 weeks. Last time I ordered some in the summer, the package arrived in 2 days. (All with standard free shipping)

Somewhere out there is a modified Thunderbird with a fretless fingerboard and a flame maple face. If I am remembering correctly it belonged to a bassist that played for Skinny Puppy. I want to say it was a 70's reissue that had a maple cap added and converted to fretless. I have not seen the bass in a long time and cannot find pictures, but our Queen or GOT may remember it from the Dude Pit days. I had a pic saved on an old computer but odds of finding it are almost zilch. So this post doesn't help you at all.:laugh:
Was Dude Pit a blog? If so, in TB? Or was it a place? Comes up every so often and I always wonder..
Did it go away?..

Larry, It was great to meet you and your wife and thank you so much for coming out! Sorry no Thunderbird action for this show the big post on my side of the stage pretty much ruled that out, I didn't want to whack the headstock against it. I wish we had more time to chat but we rolled into town in time for load in , did the show and got out of dodge. I arrived home at 6 am.

It was a great night of music and it was great to meet you as well! No worries on the time we got to shoot the 5h1t since you were there to work and you had a lot of folks in the audience to meet. I hope that it was awesome for you and I’m glad you arrived home safe and sound after driving through the night.

A bass forum run by Steve Barr. It was a great freewheeling place in the early days. Sadly it is no more but many of us Thunderbird guys were prominent members. The first place I was known as G.O.T.

More beer.

Wow! Skinny Puppy! Haven’t heard that name in a while! How about Front 242?
