Thunderbird Club

I don't yell Freebird often, but when I do, it is situations in which is more or less impossible. Last one was solo acoustic guitar player (who seemed amused, but also was playing for tips, so why didn't he at least make an attempt?).
It was years ago, I often found myself calling for Freebird no matter the band. One year during the ever Irish Holiday I was at a street party, there was this piper, I love the pipes - brings the Scot out of me- heck the Welch too, anyway this dude says he can play darn near anything. This darn piper set up the crowd because when he said he could play darn near anything I couldn't stop myself, it was like slow motion - F-r-e-e-B-i-r-d! says I, He friction played the song on the friction pipes! I don't think I have ever called for Freebird since.
