Too lazy to paint, but willing to drive 30 minutes each way to the out of the way disposal site with limited (public servant) hours? The only people doing that are the ones that are so green that they drive hours to and from every demonstration against cars and their contribution to global warming.
God damm things are the newest hassle and only make your life (well mine at least) more busy and complicated. And on top of the exhorbitant cost of using it, you are going to have to upgrade at some point. Another cultural necessity to keep you a "customer for life". Almost like whatever pharmaceutical maintenance you may have been ushered into, rather than getting a cure... okay I realized I'm running off with a football no one wants here.
Played a gig last night, intimate type format. Acoustic git, sax, cajon, my bass. Cajonist had a tiny tambourine strapped to his foot. It was actually pretty good. The approach was essential, and there was no distraction from the heart of the rhythm section. I kind of enjoyed it.
Wow. Some peeps are just trying to do the right thing by following local ordinances. I might suggest some bran flakes.
Who designed the bird graphic, and who did the finish?

I don't know if grass is supposed to look like the contents of my paint, etc shelf.Can I suggest disposing of your unused paint by painting your lawn?
I'm sure @Nocturnal can chime in on the economics of painting your grass rather than investing in both summer and winter grass.
I need oversight for smart consuming, I'll admit. But that sounds worth looking into, thanks.

I was initially repelled, then amused... at myself, for being there. It was easy enough to let it go, and I played my bass. The singers/sax and guitar playing brothers played what I refer to as "High Pop", meaning that organized, obnoxious din that makes me reach for either the off button or a hammer. But playing music is sometimes like being the kid in the kitchen wailing on the pots with wooden spoons: it's ok as long as you're the one doing it. Also it's bread.
The 'Bird is one of two designs done by Jon Fertig, an old friend from The Dudepit and Last Bass Outpost. He's a designer and quite a few years ago showed this and another similar one, I liked this the better of the two as the Bird's neck is deliberately separate from it's body, denoting a broken neck, which this specific bass has. The bass itself I bought from Mike Lull, he called me one day and asked, would you know anyone that would like to buy a '76 T Bird? Needless to say I hustled up to his shop and bought it, he'd repaired the broken neck, the finish was utter %^&#, but it has this great set of pick ups and has a tone that's big and raw, clanky badass - no effects pedal needed! It's just got some magic going on, a bit different than my other '76, anywho, the finish was in a pretty crappy state so it went back to Lull and off to Michael Dolan, it was set up by Mike upon it's return, haven't had to touch it other than string changes since then, it's a solid, well made bass, I love it!
It looks so good in purple you'd think it would have been one of the colour choices from the start. 
I love my image of you working on the trains (and basses) in a zen-like state. Don't ruin it for me if that's not the case.They are like what I use for my trains Ken, I airbrush a clear gloss lacquer over the entire model, the waterslide type of decals need a very smooth surface so the film doesn't have any air pockets which would show up as "Blush" A decal setting solution is recommended too, it's a clear liquid that dries quickly, it slightly melts the film into to smooth surface, I usually do a couple passes but that's mostly because the models can have detail that the decal covers. After it's dry I'd clear coat it at least twice to protect the decal.
I made this PG as a replacement for a really trashed '76, using styrene, then airbrushed it metallic purple, cut the Bird from masking tape and airbrushed white over the top, followed by 5-6 coats of clear gloss, it's held up really nicely for at least 8-9 years now.
I like Blackstar, and the singing is cool. Fun guitar solo, promising stuff.
