I went a local all ages show with my daughter last night. The headliner was a teenage band that played 70’s rock and a few originals.
After the first song they had a problem with the kick pedal that took a long time to fix. Being inexperienced, they just stood there awkwardly for 10 minutes or so. The bass player had the presence of mind to at least play a few lines including Ramble On. I was about to yell PLAY FREEBIRD! when they got the pedal working and launched into Simple Man.

That's pretty much what goes on Ken, I spent an hour and a half at my modeling desk this AM before taking the train into work (we start at 11:00AM on Sunday), the time just whizzes by I get so lost in the work.

Too lazy to paint, but willing to drive 30 minutes each way to the out of the way disposal site with limited (public servant) hours? The only people doing that are the ones that are so green that they drive hours to and from every demonstration against cars and their contribution to global warming.

More likely they are pouring the paint in the neighbours garden and burning the wood.

Here on the left coast, we have bottle return depots that also take paint cans, electronics etc. It’s actually pretty easy.

But yeah we also have a huge amount of “green” hypocrisy.

Out of all the PF albums and cover art, Ummagumma was the one most stared at when listening to it. (even before pot was added) Especially the airstrip shot of all their equipment. As a teen who had to wait 6 months to afford an amp after buying my first ($40) bass - it was pure drool

I always pity a "percussionist" playing one of those. I always think - poor guy can't afford to buy a cheap set of pots and pans and a couple of wooden spoons. He just grabbed an empty cardboard box from his nearest liquor store.

humans will make music regardless of what's available.....think washtub basses, jugs (the ones that house liquids) and washboards..

Can I suggest disposing of your unused paint by painting your lawn?

I'm sure @Nocturnal can chime in on the economics of painting your grass rather than investing in both summer and winter grass.

I like my desert landscaping paint free, than you very much There are areas in AZ (I'm sure in CA and NV as well) that people do paint their rock GREEN!!! Mostly retirement communities but I don't cut them any slack just because they are old and don't want the maintenance required with lawns (both Summer and Winter). It still looks like $#!+.

Guitarist has some good ideas and sounds, I think! I only mention that because I believe it’s your newest addition

She's still finding her 'sound'. She was struggling a bit with the AC30 yesterday. It pains me to say this, but maybe the AC30 isn't the perfect amp for everyone. She could be a bit more Orange or Marshall.

The singer needs to put in some serious work and some of the underlying arrangements need looking at. Drummer and me had a discussion when she was dropping me home and she reckons we shouldn't leave the singer standing around for a minute or two at a time with nothing to do.

It sounds much fuller when we're playing it. The H6 seems to make eveything sound a bit weedy.

Anymore I like silence - but, I have a horrible earworm going on of late, the theme music from "Shameless" keeps repeating. In the past and occasionally classical or traditional jazz have been there.

That is one of the reasons I became a hopeless scrounger. Whenever a Shure 330 pops up for a good price, and I actually have money, I make an attempt at buying it. One day, I might use those as overheads. If I could have a pair of RCA BK-5s, it would be a happy miracle.
