Have any of you ever made a claim against shipping? The Whiskey Trader (i should have suspected something at the name). They say "It wasnt cracked like that when we shipped it". "You can file a claim or ship it back and we'll file a claim".
What might a claim get me for my hassle. I expect it wouldn't get very much.

Def look into it, but keep the bass while you do. Just open a case w/ Ebay and put a little heat on the shipping co. The seller will remain on the spot and the deal will remain open until you get some kind of satisfaction.
It was shipped USPS. So I gather I need to file a complaint with EBay as well as filing an ins claim withUSPS. It was insured for the full $235

Right away he was trying to blame the damage on shipping when there was no way in hell that the damage could've occurred during shipping.

Seller error for sure, make sure your FleaBay claim notates how poorly it was packed

Yes, as I said on page 5 of that thread- aside from the inevitable rubbish from the 7ender bois, some very good contributions. The usual well founded defences of T Birds, Rippers, Grabbers, EBs etc- but this time a fair bit about the little known P Bass killer, the Victory.
Our Queen made some very good contributions. Proud of her.
I think the bows should be permanent.
