I watched that when it first aired (in the US). Last year I finally got a copy of the boxed set at a reasonable price. I was amazed how much I remembered. McGoohan was brilliant.

Love Cibo Matto - one of them is married to guitarist extraordinaire Nels Cline. I saw them a couple years ago at the (free) Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival here in Golden Gate Park and Nels and bass player Devon Hoff backed them up. It was awesome!

I just finished filing the slot in the bridge to accommodate the 105. Turned out well! You wouldn't know there was any surgery by looking at it but of course without the chrome plating you can feel the sharp edges now. And I got to use calipers so that was fun.

I have to say that after giving the bass a thorough setup... those Wilkinson tuners aren't great. Might need to look into replacements just for my sanity.

Saw this and thought of @GBassNorth ‘s beach car... a VR6 engine into a Type 3 Notchback. If that works a air cooled flat 6 would be a doddle to put into a Squareback
