Hey Duke! Time for a Trip back for a Portland show!

New York!!!

Bay Area!

Second vote for Seattle here. We win!

Okeechobee, FL.

There's a bandstand next to Lake Tohopekaliga. Fairly close to Carlo.
How about a venue that showcases all the greats...
House of Blues in Los Angeles!

gotta grub....

Stopping by to say hey. Wills bass sure looks amazing, Kat got an awesome cello, funny church signs....did I miss anything?

Out playing Sturgis at the moment. We’re doing 17 shows in 10 days...3 shows left!

Took my Cataldo NR41 on the road for the first time. I use it a lot for recording, but never tour with it for some reason...until now! This thing is a beast. Thunderbucker ‘66 pickup. My normal Bassburner strings were a bit too grindy for this gig, so I slapped some Cobalts on and they sound terrific on this bass, I think :)

Love the pics! I'm sure I would have loved the show too!
With all the demands from club members across the globe you should publish your performance schedule so at least some of us can attend.

I just finished filing the slot in the bridge to accommodate the 105. Turned out well! You wouldn't know there was any surgery by looking at it but of course without the chrome plating you can feel the sharp edges now. And I got to use calipers so that was fun.

I have to say that after giving the bass a thorough setup... those Wilkinson tuners aren't great. Might need to look into replacements just for my sanity.
Just smooth those edges with a bit of wet/dry sandpaper.
Keep us posted if you change the tuners...and on any other random stuff:thumbsup:

Tore it up across the peninsula yesterday...covered 170 miles in just over an hour.....NO ONE to be seen on the road...Sonoran desert winds brought the temp up to 121....

Finally made it to the Pacific coast which is a nice 67 degrees at 20% percent...much better..View attachment 3503068
:woot:What car were you driving at nearly 170mph for over an hour? Gotta get me one of those!

I’ve played the HOB in San Diego, Anaheim and Hollywood. Are there more in SoCal?

Love the pics! I'm sure I would have loved the show too!

I’d hate to clog things up promoting my own crap, but I would like to meet more members! West coast doesn’t look likely this year, from what I can tell. I’m seeing Indiana, Ohio, Memphis and Texas finishing off August.

I also want to see more pics of Will’s bass!

RS at 125 most of the way, all wide well paved roads...try it!:D
Got it! 125mph doesn't even break a sweat in my Cayenne GTS, could do that all day long if the local law enforcement would let me.

170 mph on the other hand would be pedal to the floor and gas consumption at a rate of about 5mpg, even starting with a full 25 gallon tank I'd need to refill at least once to drive at that speed for an hour. And heaven help you if you hit an armadillo at 170, it'd do some serious damage to the car.

Stay safe and enjoy the trip, we want you all rested up and in good health when you get back.

We all want to see more of Wills bass, it's a looker with that new finish!
The HOB I was thinking of is Hollywood. I was out of town when you were playing there last. Great venue, fun location, lots of night life in the area. Looking forward to catching one of your shows in the future.

I forgot to post this pic with the others...

...an entire KY State Park dedicated to.... big things.

I lived in Cincinnati for a couple years and made the trip to Lexington KY a few times and saw that sign.

For those who don't know what "Big Bone Lick" represents.

Designated. 2009. Big Bone Lick State Park is located at Big Bone in Boone County, Kentucky. The name of the park comes from the Pleistocene megafauna fossils found there. Mammoths are believed to have been drawn to this location by a salt lick deposited around sulphur springs.

And, of course,

Wikipedia claims French Lick is the 2nd name the area had; "French Lick was originally a French trading post built near a spring and salt lick. A fortified ranger post was established near the springs in 1811. On Johnson's 1837 map of Indiana, the community was known as Salt Spring. The town was founded in 1857"Apr 14, 2016

He comes to Texas on the lowdown, and never to Austin. Maybe he’s avoiding us!
