If you want to go that route, I would suggest glucosamine might be a better choice.

I had a wonderful meeting with miler Jim Ryan and his wife a couple years ago. Great people. Guess what they’re doing? Hawking glucosamine.

Don't know if he was full of himself, but he definitely was into flying in the face of popular religion, and the construct of pop-holiness. Like any rock band that seeks notoriety through the disruption of popular, accepted ideas, he chose a name for its' ability to offend. Got lots of fans that way.

Every couple of weeks I tune it, play a couple of scales (pizzicato), think 'must sort out a bow', then something happens and I think 'next month'. It will happen.

Addendum: still considering geared tuners but they are a ($500) luthier job.
