Thunderbird Club

when my employer merged with a Scottish company, we got our own plaid!
Tartan Details - The Scottish Register of Tartans

While I am too laid back to be an angry Scot, I am nevertheless much Scot and think having a Thunderbird plaid is an excellent idea.
The description

The four colours of the tartan represent several core values of the company. Black, noted for its sturdiness, symbolises integrity, with the surrounding shades of grey...

I read it as black for integrity and several shades of grey for the lackluster approach to integrity...

Could be worse. My brother had a bike accident about eight or so weeks ago, fractured his hip and is just now weight bearing without a cane. He’s 60. His riding days are over per his wife.

I hear that, to an extent... it does take longer to recover at an older age but one can rebuild/return to the activity they love, abet at a lesser involvement. I hope your brother can convince his wife that it is not over as him enjoying cycling. For me - it would take a lot to 'end' that.

Yep, indeed... I'm figuring that an old martial arts master loses some flexibility, elasticity, speed, strength. But what the years of practice, physical and mental, etc discipline have afforded him/her is something that transcends the apparent.
If you're going to screw with someone, don't screw with the oldest cat in the room...

:) it's just inexperience otherwise...

I always wear hearing protection at shows. Gotta protect the hearing I have left:thumbsup:

Me too - I was wearing my 'Earasers' last night - I wear them for every rehearsal/show I play. Already have tinnitus in one ear (left) - it's just common practice to wear ear protection.

Yeah, he’s playing Jerry’s Pizza tomorrow night. I’m gonna try and make it. Busy times though.

Jerry’s Pizza is a tiny venue where Korn (not my thing) first played. The owner has been one of a few in Bako keeping the live music scene going. Not the funnest place to see a show though. Can get way too crowded and earplugs are often required apparel.

It may be worth checking out - it was a full house in Winters, but I felt very comfortable and I'm claustrophobic. And where do you listen to live music w/o ear protection? ...

With or without bling?
Getting ready to put the Curtis Novak Tbird in it.
