Thunderbird Club

The description

The four colours of the tartan represent several core values of the company. Black, noted for its sturdiness, symbolises integrity, with the surrounding shades of grey...

I read it as black for integrity and several shades of grey for the lackluster approach to integrity...
The description can use work, for sure.

When I first saw a pic of a Blackbird as a kid I was mesmerized. Got a model and some kind of toy at some point. I was able to see one close up in Alabama. I still watch old documentaries about it that I've seen before. Sooooo far ahead of it's time. Go Skunk Works!
Down in Mobile? So cool.

These sorts of things should always be proofread by a disinterested third party to find all the mis-interpretations possible. When I was at Guidant (medical device manufacturer), they introduced the slogan "good enough to use on my own family" and as soon as I heard it, I added the tag "you better hope I like my family". From there stemmed many others like "but I'm an orphan" etc.

Ok, it's a little tight when you consider the distortion of a cell phone lens, and get a couple more bodies up there- but it's nothing most of us aren't used to.
Well heck, I remember one rehearsal room in our guitarist's girlfriend's house, two of us had to climb over large stored items, and no one had room to take a step. That was hilarious- fortunately we were all good friends and had a good attitude. And his girlfriend's mom was hot...

Ok fellow T-birders, I have a question. I am considering putting a Hipshot Supertone bridge on my Epi T-bird Classic Pro. I would order the 3 point version of it, right? I ask because they sell a 2 point version as well. Also, anyone here who installed the Supertone on their Epi's have any issue with the installation? Is it really just remove 3 bolts, remove old bridge and screw on the Supertone with just TWO replacement bolts? Anyone have any problems with the install, i.e. needing shims, etc? Thanks for any advice.

I put one on an Epi EB-0, and it was that simple.
Try and match up the saddles on the Hipshot with the ones on the 3-pt, but you'll have to intonate of course.

When you remove the old 3-pt, be sure and tape over the saddles, they'll drop out if you turn it over.

(Fwiw, I've had no trouble with the original 3-pt bridge on my Classic Pro, but that's my milage)

nope. Stone simple. The three bolt version has a slot that slides over the third post. Bolts in. IIRC, they provide both metric and SAE bolts, so don’t force anything, just try the other bolts.
I love the Supertone on my Epi bird.

The USAir would be perfect for DBCooper.:smug:

Close, however this is what's correct, if you look, you'll see a statue of the infamous Mr. D.B. Cooper standing beneath the tail of this United 727.

Will @Gaolee is an actual musician, I'm more along the lines of no talent hack  But yeah, Beer!
Sez you. I fake it on multiple instruments and still read music on a functionally illiterate level. And practice? Um - does band practice count? For what it is worth, there is evidence of my ineptitude on Soundcloud now. One of these days I might even get around to a link.
