What would Einstein have done?
1. It is plain old Newtonian physics. Einstein's time is far better used thinking about relativity. Give this to some grad student to solve.
2. Rock out on his THUNDERBIRD while contemplating the arrow of time.

what's the best bass for cerebral?

So does anyone know what bridges have saddles that move further away from the nut than the originals Epiphone VP and can be mounted onto the Bass via the 2 existing holes/screws the original bridge is on?

Further than '63-'65 originals, as on the (recent) Epi VP? Scott Dassons Badbird for one. Hipshot Supertone for another.

i would think one of these....designed by an engineer, not a musician..

Don't ask PillO. I didn't like doing vector math when I learned it and that never changed. And, probably not coincidentally, I haven't done it in years. Surely we have a mechanical engineer around here who would be happy to do that math. An electrical engineer could probably do it too. Maybe even a civil engineer.
a civil engineer better be able to...in electrical engineering, pretty much the only time you would use vectors is in electromagnetic machine design such as motors...generators...transformers....

there are several versions of the hipshot, does only the supertone 2 point mount fit, or can i use the 3 point aswell or even the D-Style?
and shall i just pm godofthunder or is there a shop for the badbird?

EDIT: ok just read the PDF on the hipshop page and the dimensions between the holes are different so i guess only the 2 point mount supertone will fit right?

As far as I know.

My 3 favorites to play are A Day in the Life, The End and Something. Why don't you enjoy playing Beatles tunes might I ask? :woot:
Done it too much. I don't care for really early Beatles all that much anyway. If you are going to play like Carl Perkins, play like Carl Perkins. I get along with their later songs better.
