I see that the site software censors the name... Because software can't assume that we will all act like adults.
Just the name of the site without spaces...

The most dangerous thing we have on the wet coast is mould spores. Not so sure about scorpions, the rattlers aren't really even that common, but here on the wet side we have none of them.
I love the sound of Spanish, and will happily listen to Mexican radio, even though I understand very little of it.My wife and I have been learning Spanish, which means the radio in my van is tuned to Ciento Dos punto Nueve! Effe Emme! La Zeta! It started out being completely incomprehensible, but now, I can understand snippets of things as they go roaring past. It's amazing how entertaining obnoxious commercials can be when they are in a language you are trying to learn.
Yes it’s the same as having both pickups on full.Blend. I’ve always had in my mind that I wouldn’t like it because when on the midpoint the output is reduced.
Q1: is that even correct ?
Q2: now thinking that may be the same as having both pickups ‘on 10’. The output is reduced then also ?
so, same same ?
The effect varies, depending on the bass and the pickups. In my experience not really. Playing with a band you might cut through a bit less depending on the overall mix, due to the midrange loss, but I wouldn’t call it a loss of output.
Happy Christmas to all you weirdos!
Weird side note. My favorite rock band in the 80’s was The Replacements. They recently released a box set, which includes a remix of the “Don’t Tell A Soul” record. I always loved the bass on that record, but mostly only ever saw Tommy Stinson playing P Basses. This stuff doesn’t sound like a P Bass completely to me. Here’s a picture of them at the time...

There’s a kinda sad ending to this but I’ll save it until after the holidays![]()
In all my years in Seattle (since 1961) I had never seen one of these fellows in the flesh until this year, when bigger they're quite aggressive, I've seen YT video of them attacking and eating lizards and hummingbirds.

One thing I really like about western Washington state is the fact that there are very few, creepy crawly poisonous stingamajigs here.
I'm dorking it up with Will @Gaolee today! He's the normal fellow on the right!

I see what you mean. Maybe they used some locktite on the nut?Hey, I'm still on my Thunderbird VP bridge and want to turn the saddle around on the E String, but I'm not quite sure if I can just unscrew the intonation screw from the nut on the other side of the bridge. I watched a video about a tune-o-matic bridge of a les paul guitar getting the saddle swapped out, and he kinda popped out the screw from the bottom of the bridge. Can't find anything about a Thunderbird tune-o-matic. So is there a certain technique or can I just unscrew it with a bit of force? Don't wanna break something. Sorry for the newbish question lol
That makes it one powerful book!Merry Boxing Day! I received this yesterday and it distracted me from the internet for the day:

Except for the drones working in the cube farms...The Bay Area is mostly devoid of insects also other than the occasional ant invasion when it gets wet/cold.
