I recently made a quick move to Portland. My basses and bikes are stranded in Washington. Thinking about getting an Epiphone Vintage Pro Thunderbird to fill thr void. until I can get back to my Jaguar with Lollar TBird pickups.

To me, early Chicago music is tremendous. After Kath's untimely death, and Cetera basically took over, is when the music got too sappy for my taste, though there were exceptions.I'm right there with you.
Many Chicago songs are on my favorites list these days. And like you, back then, I did what I needed to do to stay in the girls good graces. Well, I did draw the line at disco. Hated it back then, and still dislike it now, and you can throw rap in there as well. But I have come around on Chicago and much of the lighter stuff from the 1970's.
Ahem. . .If you don't qualify it, it's not sexist. Post your pic wearing them first!
With a THUNDERBIRD, of course.
Best is ALWAYS subjective.I just don't worry who's best. I enjoy them all and listen to whoever I want to in the moment!
There's actually a rather interesting and funny back story to my sappy comment to the Chicago band. I've posted it here before, so I'm sure many have seen it but here's the back story for those that haven't already seen it...To me, early Chicago music is tremendous. After Kath's untimely death, and Cetera basically took over, is when the music got too sappy for my taste, though there were exceptions.
And once Cetera was gone, they got back to being Chicago. To me, early Chicago music is tremendous. After Kath's untimely death, and Cetera basically took over, is when the music got too sappy for my taste, though there were exceptions.
