Thunderbird Club

Lots of the NRL teams here play AC/DC as the pre kickoff music, to start and after halftime too some of them.

My team plays “The Saints are Coming” just before kickoff... and “Oh When The Saints....” on the increasingly rare occasions that we get a win. :rollno:

Manly Sea Eagles play “Eagle Rock” by Daddy Cool, of course.
yeah, 90% of the roller derby teams use AC/DC for warmups....

Wow! That sounds great to me....

Any photos ?
Unfortunately I lost a ton of electronic photos back in 2013 when my windows based PC got infected and crashed (blue screen of death, no more windows for me). So nothing is left of the finished HardRock pool room and Bar, but here's some photos from when we took the guitars down to paint the walls and put the house up for sale ...

And here's a shot of the AC/DC guitar...

I'll have to look for pics of the other guitars.

Well I guess you haven't heard that Rotos will shred your fingers to where you can't or won't want to play and eat massive ruts in your frets????:nailbiting::jawdrop:

I hadn't played them since the '80s and hesitated trying them from all the horror stories. Bought a set and found it was all another example of internet hysteria. They have their own feel, but also their own sound!

Each player has their nemesis strings.

It's kinda 'funny'. I play big band, 60s-70s rock and country, and (whatever). This is the stuff I listen to on SiriusXM. Just not a lot of call for an overweight, 75 y/o (gray)hair metal bass man in this neck o' the woods.
Hair metal was MADE for long drives, especially at night.
