Interesting in a Ripper/Grabber kind of way, I was not aware of this, the headstock could be better - more sympathetic to the design.

The headstock sort of reminds me of a cross between a Ric and a Spector. Would that make it a Rictor or a Spectorbacker?

I think it's nice to see something that doesn't ape 7ender, quite refreshing in fact.

Well, got bad-ish news about the SQ Greco - apparently, it got some minor damage from shipping, and they sent it back to the shipper, who looked into fixing it. But apparently he decided to not go that route & sent me a full refund instead.

I feel like I should be :crying:
But he did do the refund unprompted, so... :sorry:

:(
Bummer. I’m sorry.

You can put capacitors in series or parallel to get desired values. The formulas are opposite to resistance/impedance. So in parallel they add up, in series add the reciprocal values.
Interesting. Maybe I'll parallel wire a couple of .047uf caps for a total of .094uf, that's pretty close to the .1uf max that I'm after.

Played the '06 with the Roto Flats yesterday. Sounded great at home and at church--when no one else was playing. I was really loving the sound, but when others started playing it kind of turned in to background bass and nothing interesting. Will go back to the Black Beauties and let it ride for a while. Need to get to playing other basses. The other birds are getting a little fidgety. Will be gearing up to move in month or so. I hate moving. I think I've said that before, but it needs repeating.

In that case the motto should be something like...
"Neither double boxing nor hardcase nor fragile stickers nor over insurance stays these couriers from the swift destruction of your precious package"
;)
Indeed. UPS damaged a small combo amp I sent across the country in a padded wooden crate. They slammed it so hard that the scew heads punctured the plywood the crate was made of.

Hopefully they're not able-or too lazy-to f---*up a packet of strings.
