Interesting. Never recall seeing one before. Layout reminds a little of the Peavey Mk heads from the 70s.
a work colleague was showing me pics of his which he uses for bass....had no clue Hiwatt ever made anything ss (or so we think, trying to locate schem)...in this case, ss(?) mixer into the traditional Dave Reeves EL-34 output stage....would love to get my hands one one..

What I like best is that the D and G strings have less 'clank', more lows. I can EQ in more highs if needed. Can't EQ out 'clank'.
I've found in my case you can't EQ out bad playing. That amp is yet to be made. But will be popular when it comes out.

'Klank' don't fit what we-normally-do. But it's a TBird. It's there if/when I want it. Put the tone knob on 10(or 11)and EQ some high mids. Viola...no, vyolah... nah, that ain't it. Hmmm. Ah! Eureka!

I'm certainly glad they released them. Keeping them penned up is just cruel. Anybody got a clue how much the 'ransom' will be?

That's from Jan. Nothing on the Gibson site yet.
Still working hard on War Pigs. Gigged it back in the day, but mostly did my own thing on all those bass leads. Now I'm learning it note-for-note just cause I have the time and want to, coming up on 7:34 of 8:15. Interesting note, many of the bass leads are faster than the guitar leads.
One of my bass heroes. Gone far too soon. Some days it ambushes me, like Gollum jumping out of nowhere. While there were other influences, Leon is the single biggest reason I was attracted to Thunderbirds.
I feel like Geezer's under-rated by a lot of people.
