Should be safe there. The nights I can’t recall, I would have been incapacitated.

Yeah, I think I prefer the style of the originals, or at least similar, the best.
I've discovered that I seem to not be a fan of dome knobs on (my) Thunderbirds, looks-wise at least.
I like them fine on my Ibanez basses tho....

I put the Nexus strings on tonight......
...the E-string silk started to fray almost immediately
Sound-wise, they seem pretty similar to the nickel DRs, a bit less bright than the Black Beauties. Maybe a little more....textured, as well.
Think I'll give them a bit to settle, and maybe try them on the Blackbird, once I've finished the fretboard clean-up.

I picked up a CP that was damaged when it was dropped. Doesn’t seem to be any structural damage though. I sent it to my luthier for a check jo though. I’ll post pics when I get it back.

There was an "incident" and the less said the better. As @MCF advises, after the expiration of the statute of limitations, it is still better to keep ones mouth shut. Suffice it to say that there is a good reason for the coconut bra and grass skirt at the initiation ceremony.

The fraying of the silks immediately doesn't bother me. I think that has happened with every set of Rotos I have used.
Interesting choice to have the silks match the ball ends (ahem), I'm not sure if I love it or hate it.
