Thunderbird Club

As I mentioned, I liked it back then. Liked the music because it seemed a little different in some ways. Now I find it abusive to my ears.

I liked the Carpenters a little then too.... (Liked Bread more since I have a softer side.) Bab's was a no go. Captain and Tennille were clever for one song. It was all pretty cheesy then but we didn't know it because most everything was.

I liked the Carpenters off and on (mainly my mood). I liked some Bread, but always wished they'd done more songs along the lines of "Mother Freedom" (although I don't like it as much today as I did then).

While I've never tried this, I've heard that using old bass strings to "file a nut" by moving it back and forth over an existing string groove works well to open the groove to a larger string.

I tried that without knowing it was a thing. But all I had were strings that were too small compared to the EBCFs going in. 90% or more the way there, but not quite...

Been listening bit more to LS recently and much to my surprise, so is my acoustic-guitar duo singing partner. She showed up my place Sunday, asking Can we do Simple Man ? So we're working on a simplified version. Beautiful song.

I have a S/SW friend who does a great acoustic version! She's usually solo, but lately has been singing with a friend. It's lovely both ways.

Incoming! Hey, it's still a bird right?
