That's too long!!! That would be killing me too. They need to get you your bass, ASAP. 7 birds, very nice!! You need that new one to make it an even eight, though.

Pretty much. I did ride the motorcycle there. It isn't exactly a purpose built highway bike, but it made the trip even more fun. Getting blown around is actually kinda fun for some of us.

Ha, I love that Subaru too, but it's not mine. However, now that you mention it, this bass matches my Mazda's red almost perfectly!

That Mazda metallic candy apple red is a knock out color! If the new NR is that same color, that seals the deal for me, I'd have to get one. Can you post a pic of your bass next to the Mazda in the sunlight, I'd like to see how it compares.

I was told the same thing, BUT I have been waiting for my Epiphone Embassy since March, I'm being told November now.

I was told next May on the Embassy's. Maybe by that time I'll have $ available.

I remember back when Ol' Henry was still in charge, Gibson guitars started coming with D'addarios stock for a while. These don't have a D'addario feel really, but who knows, could be them. Definitely no colored ball ends, though. Judging by feel, seems a bit more like EB or GHS to me. It's anybody's guess, though.

It's funny you mention the LPB2. I had one of those for a while (I think it was that one, with bartolinis), albeit a 4 string, and from what I recall that neck was not too far off of this! Still, I believe this is a bit more rounded, but it's been a while since I had that thing. You're lucky to own one, very cool basses!

This was 2 years ago. Not my regular band, but lotta fun. The Harley riders got the joke of my Vespa T-shirt-bought for the gig(we did about 5 of those).

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it! I hope that day DOES come for you, whatever color you choose. These are very killer. Not tooting my own horn whatsoever, but Gibson should have really included some shots like mine in their promo pics! I definitely feel like the Burgundy got the least amount of attention, and looks way darker or murkier or dare I say blander in their pictures.

I am submitting my resume now to be their iPhone photographer.

The Gibson photos all paled in comparison to reality. I don't get why they do that stuff.

Very true! I still think it's interesting to that D Bopp's green one came stock with the controls all laid out in a row, too.

Alrighty, it's here! First, I gotta say, I am impressed with the case. Nicer than my previous cases too and definitely seems smaller than my gigantic previous TBird cases. This one is great. The bass looks great. Neck is definitely chunkier than my previous reverses, but also not too fat. Feels like a really nice medium profile. Not too far off from my old Money Bass, but it's really its own thing. All the colors look fantastic, but I'm really glad I went with this Sparkling Burgundy, it looks FANTASTIC in my opinion!

Not sure about that. The 2013s probably sold well but there hasn't been a Pelham Blue Reverse from Gibson.

Not sure about that. The 2013s probably sold well but there hasn't been a Pelham Blue Reverse from Gibson.
