I don't know all the ins and outs and heebie jeebies they put on the inside of them pedals.

I just know that mine sounds Geezery and awesome. I had a 90 years ago for treble geetar, and I traded it off or sold it a long time ago, never tried it on bass.

This run of the Epi "Custom Shop" Birds has chrome hardware as well. It was basically the TV Silver Bird several years in advance.

We called it wheelies when she was dragging her bum on the rug.
In this case it was a really nice 10x10 rug. We really liked that rug, but after all the bum-wiping, we left it behind when we moved out.

Yeah, I get that cheap cases for cheap basses (especially less common ones) will be generic, but for any good to great quality bass, they should be form fit. My 2019 Eip Thunderbird IV and my 2019 VP cases are both form-fitting; I'd be kinda p!$$3d if a $1000+ bass's case was more generic.

There were no new analog delay chips (at least even close to what was used in the old pedals) fior years. Now there are, but I suspect they aren't exact reproductions. And getting proper spec transistors for the old circuits isn't always possible. And engineers love to tweak things to make them "better". And some people want things more "cost-effective". Just for starters.

Oh... wasn't sure what you were referring to. Fortunately for us, our little old lady has rarely done the bum drag and it's usually done outside. I thought you meant tearing through the house at breakneck speeds barely making corners and smacking into stuff. So comical at times. Like a little lunacy and then calm.

Our girl still does this in short bursts but it hardly last more than 10 seconds nowadays and they've become more and more rare.

Not Molly, but similar behavior.

Fully agree with you. They were a straight up classic RnR band. IMO one of the last real classic RnR bands which seemed to have largely died out in the 80s. Show up and play and let the music impress.
