Maybe next time........

:DSo much to love in those pics!
Shine, CAR Eppi, Craftsman tool chest, pancakes…:hyper:

BTW - that’s some fancy moonshine there. Mine never had a label and was in either a mason jar or mayonnaise or peanut butter jar. Never tried blackberry shine, liked the cherry shine though. If I’m ever up your way we’ll have to raise a glass.

That's some I brought with me when I moved from TN. It's not "home-made", technically.

I've had cherry too, and some others. Harder to get in CA....

Dude, no prob. if you have a VOM we can probably troubleshoot it via PM..
I’ve been out of pocket, a few hundred messages behind. When I saw the first message I figured I’d keep reading, and sure enough, Chuck to the rescue! One of TC’s national treasures.

Questions like this are always encouraged, "search" is overrated.

The Early Vintage Pros used a large Wilkenson tuner so A Hipshot BT2 would be correct. It's my understanding that the later issues of the VP use a slightly smaller model and the Hipshot BT1 is your choice.

Mine with early, big tuners.

Thank you. Do you know if I'll have to redrill any new holes? It's the end of the world if I have to, I'm curious though.

Dang it Andy! It's all your fault! I just had to get in the car and go up there. That thing is spotless, I can't even see a mark on any of the frets, A couple of eency weency scratches on the very end of the hs. It followed me home :smug:. Not like I need another bird but its my first classic pro.

ya the case is like new as well, the door to the compartment inside is a little wonky but I think thats more the norm than not. I need to give it a good setup, the strings are sky high but the neck is good and straight by eye.

I figure the case alone is $120 usd so i got a practically new Classic Pro for $200 bucks :hyper: That makes me quite happy.

SCORE! That's a sweet deal. Good thing you didn't hesitate because as you've proven, it didn't take long and it was gone! Glad you got it!

I had some Honey-shine that was just awesome recently. Straight out of Kentucky and sold in a Mason jar. About 100 proof if I'm remembering right and about 4 shots in, I was questioning my decision to partake but it was so darn good.
As they say in the hills…
One shot, two shot, three shot, floor!

All I can say is shine has gotten fancy in recent decades! Used to be nothing but lightening in shine. Now it's a mixed drink!

I don't know if anyone has found a gig bag for an Epi VP yet, but as I am now living in Thailand I had to get a bit inventive.
The hard case is so big it won't fit in the boot (trunk) of the car and it is even too long to sit across the back seat ! ( C class Benz).
However, an 88 note keyboard gig bag is a perfect fit !
I ordered one on their online shopping platform here and got one delivered .
600 baht which is 30 USD !

Not really protected from anything other than some dents or scratching but better than nothing.
