Thunderbird Club

We dont have a Dick’s drive in, but we do have Dick’s Lumber!
We have Dick’s sporting goods. In San Jose we had a flooring store called Linoleum Dicks. Fortunately it was long before Al Gore invented the internet, I shudder to think what would happen with a Google search for that company.

BTW - rhymes with the off topic in discussion and gets us back on track…

Please say it wasn't a cactus. :D

I actually think many of them are very pretty in their own way. I love the design that went into a plant that needs protection being basically a reservoir of life giving water. Nothing says don't even think of eating me like strategically placed needles.
IIRC it was a cherry tree.

 I bet you weren't the first or only one who's done that. As you now know, having more would not have enhanced the experience. You are correct, the coffee is good.

I had kind of an opposite experience with Wendy's. As a kid I was used to eating a Bid Mac, so when Wendy's came to town I ordered a double, thinking it was their version of the BMac. Needless to say I thought I was going to puke after eating that and frys....
There was a place here for years (that mysteriously burned down in the nineties). It was called Billy Bob’s Burgers & Beer. The place was covered in posters of porn stars. Their slogan was “Home of the One Pound Belly Buster.” It came with a full basket of fries. If you finished it you got another one for free. There were guys that could actually eat the whole thing. And wash it down with several beers.

Define "driving distance". I used to drive ~400 miles a night. 'Course I got paid to do it.
It’s not really far - maybe 25 miles or so, but there are 2 tunnels and 2 bridges, so it’s a 45-60 minute drive.
I’ve never seen an Eppi custom shop Bird in person. Some of the regular bolt neck Eppi Birds are quite nice players.
