that folded horn Ampeg cab sounds heavenly with the Coliseum Bass…..made us have to replace a glass pane in one of the sound booths some years back….no joke..

Listen to Steely Dan's "Reelin' in the years" those guitar solos were recorded through an SVT amp with 8X10 cab, which seeing the overdrive was probably on "Search-for-cover" volume levels.

Possibly one of those cases where the guitar player was in the booth with the engineer, and no sentient life was in the room with the amp and mics.

My Thunderbird typically sings through old ACC solid state. Tubeless here, too. No blowouts.
