Once you get into the Squarepusher mood, you can't stop.

I find that after I have used my chainsaw on a few victims, the cops usually squelch my mood for Squarepusher pretty quickly


I usually like whacked out music and maybe I just bought the wrong CD first but I was surprised at how unlistenable it was.

unbelievable bassist and even more unbelievable performer! just him and racks and racks of gear. i had the pleasure of seeing him in a tiny club in brooklyn when he toured for ultravisitor.

pick up Go plastic if you haven't...his best work BY FAR.

Squarepusher is da BOMB! Feed Me Weird things was the first album that I heard. Incredible. Theme For Ernest Borgnine just made me jump up and down with glee Blew me away.

Got to see him live in Liverpool a couple of years ago. Not on his best form. Some gear wasn't working, and he was improvising a lot of the set, and needless to say he wasn't shy about his fustrations with the whole thing. Still good though.

It's hard to forget that under all that madness of drums and acid synths there is an incredibly talented bassist, who could give many pro's a run for their money.

he had equipment problems when i saw him too. that's understandable when the gear is bigger than the musician.

I have Go Plastic and Hard Normal Daddy and they are definately sweet. I looked into his stuff some more and saw that he was on NiN's Nothing record lable for a little bit... That is kind of interesting.

Yeah, just private message me a suitable home email address etc. That goes for anyone who wants the files. Squarepusher only appeared on 2 parts of the Culture Show, and that's what I ripped to Youtube. MacOS X dvd ripping is pretty lame, so the quality isn't superb, but I could also email the compressed video's as well. Total for .wav, .m4a & .mp4 files would be about 35/40meg I think?
