Darth as you can well see there is no serial # anywhere on the headstock...also it has two truss rods and i don't remember seeing that listed in the literature, but i could be wrong however.....

i find it very odd that i can't find a serial # anywhere

Why thank you sir...

i have only had a small part of yesterday and this morning to play with it, i'm really diggin these Rockfield pups, although it is a bit difficult to dial in and "old school" sound without changing the settings on my RBI

this fret board is the cats meow and the feel is very solid minus the 4x4 plank feel...lol

may have to get rid of a few B.C. Rich's and ESP's.... so i can buy more of these...lol

really eye-balling that attack model...:p

I wish Todd would sell those pickups aftermarket, I'd love to try a few sets!

I aso see yours has new Traben tuners, both mine have Grovers, which I'm told are fairly cheap.

I have an ESP F-104 that i got off a guy cheap as he needed the dough, and that particular model is just 1 step above their bottom of the barrell model and i never have to worry about it being in tune when i pick it up (it has Grovers on it)
and some manufacturers actually use Grover tuners as a selling point...I think some people just say things like Grovers are cheap or Grovers suck for the same reason they say oh Brand X sucks etc.....they feel the need to make themselves feel better by picking on other peoples gear, when i suspect that some of them would like to try something outside the box, but are either too afraid, or afraid what others might say about them or to them......but hey thats IMHO and you know what they say about those...right?....

I have said it a million times so one more won't hurt....i say play what you like and like what you play....

Yeah, found it for a great price. And I've been wanting a bass with a little "kick ass" to it. Been doing the P and J thing for a while now. And while you can still get obviously some great things out of them, you just sometimes want that great bridge MM sound to just really drive things. That's what I'm really hoping to get out of it, along with some great looks.

Nice!

I've always wanted one of the solarburst Tribal Suns or Phoenix's but they're a bit hard to find nowdays.

yea no kidding...that is one of the main reason i picked up my Obsession...nobody seems to have them in stock....and i mean nobody...i just got lucky as the local Mom and Pops owner is friends with a factory rep that just quit Crate and went to work for Traben he ordered 4 after the last NAMM show and ended up with this one Obsession....i played it once and fell in love......and i happen to really actually like the tribal bridge.....

I listed one of my NJ's and one of my lower end Model ESP's today to fund another Traben purchase....I'm really gassing over the Attack Model With the burled top! and the double single coil pup arrangement!!!!
