The bridge pickup is a wilkenson 5 string stringray pickup. The other 2 pickups are from an Epiphone T-bird. I wired it passive with all 500k ohm pots.

Is this good enough to get me in the club ? It's an affinity body, VM Duncan designed pickups, and VM jaguar neck. Plays like a dream and I think it looks pretty alright!

Here's my 3rd bass, it's built from the leftovers of my other basses. VM fretless neck, stagg machine heads, Affinity alder body, Fender P pickup.

Thanks. Should I make it a fretless? It's nice to have one w flats one w rounds but a fretless would be good too. I only have two basses.

While it would make a very fine fretless, I am sadly the wrong guy to ask because I would be the "Option 3" guy and would be stocking up on ramen noodles, wearing my short pants from 3rd grade, and stealing toilet paper from the gas station to acquire a fretless or something to construct one from so I would have a flat, a round, and a fretless machine. I'm sick that way.

Leave it as is and play the snot outta it! You'll run into something to molest later and it's easier taking them out than getting them back in. Sorta like being born.
