true giant monster rigs

didn't realize this was both a bass and proper english site.
what's next, limits? some history? economics?
great amps, I have a macro tech 2400 that I've used for years. Of course, I barely turn it up, and I only use it in the biggest rooms. But still, there is no finer power amp made. Even though it's considered 80s technology.

I must say, Johnny A. seems like a classy down-to-earth guy.
But that rig... Jesus !?#%$& Christ!!! I think even a Samoan would say "that's huge" ...
I think it it would be funny to play a prank at an outdoor gig-- Place the rig on a flatbed truck, all set up on the edge of the back, and ready to go at performance volume at the flip of a switch... Park it near a porta-potty... when some unsuspecting person goes into the porta-potty to poo, back up the truck about 6 feet away from the back of the porta-potty, wait a few seconds for the poo-er to get all settled in and relaxed, and then....... turn the rig on and forcefuilly pluck the lowest open string, and be ready with video cameras pointing at the door of the porta-potty to record the result...

Staindbass I notice on the bigger picture there is also a mic in one of the Horns, what kind of mic is it? I did look but I might be just being blind.

as for the haters, like that fool that was trying to tell you what to do w/ your money, you have no idea what he does with it, so shut your pie hole
someone else said we all could donate (awesome), and to let you know as a college student, jobless, and on disability (a fixed income), i was out buying beer the other night and some girl in front of me had her debit card rejected for a book...so i bought it for her...does that make me a saint? no
it makes me someone that felt the need to help someone out...people seem to forget what makes people good people...if you do it to make yourself feel better, well, that's actually selfish

I think its cool not to have to carry your stuf to load in and load out. (That only happened for me a few times, and I still helped anyway)
Most people like a weekend warrior like me only dream of that, and putting the notes on our bass thru that "wall of sound"

thinking about it, this seems like it'd probably be rather colourless. Ampeg sort of has a reputation for that to begin with and it's ONLY that plus power amps. I'll take older cabs with some variety any day.
