Another great night with the TL last night!

That lighting looks great, too ! Do you play in passive mode or with the stock preamp ? That's the ONE thing I dislike about Peavey (SO far only one !) is the Dyna preamp.
I always play in active mode.....I usually do a little low and mid boost and a slight treble cut all from detent. I am the opposite of you! I have had great success with the stock pre in every TL I've ever owned (3 first gen and 1 second gen)

Edit: One of my first basses many years ago was a Dyna Bass 5. I barely knew how to set the EQ on it then. Maybe it's just something in the TL basses that make it work......:)

That's Awesome !!!! I'm just speaking from experience on the Sarzo. It has the same Dyna preamp, and I was used to the Cirrus "perfection", so after that everything seemed inferior.
I can see the mid and a bass boost and treble cut being amazing. It's that treble pot that's so finicky.

Just a heads up to anyone that might see a used red 1984 Foundation go up on GC in the next few days - I saw it hit their site one morning last week & snagged it quick. It looked pretty decent, had original knobs and was listed for $220, so I figured I’d give it a shot. What I got today is seen in the pics I’m posting below. Some janky knobs that don’t even sit on the pots right and the gnarliest fretboard I’ve seen with scuffs, scratches and dings. I’m returning it tomorrow, but just in case they used the same photos that hooked me when they list it, I wanted to inform anybody of what they’re really getting. It’s a shame too, because it turned out this one’s serial is only 8 before my main Foundation. Almost it’s twin :).
