Millenium Bridge Allen Wrench Size
Does anyone know the allen hex size on a millenium? Like many of us, i just guess - is ut 1mm?

So Peavey like Fender & others if they needed extra basses, in a particular colour for an order would respray over what they had in the factory at that time?
I had taken a picture of the control panel of my '86 Foundation, when I bought it and mine was just black from the beginning no previous colours. Checked the pot codes not sure how you read them but the 85 seems to stick out, again maybe Peavey bought them in bulk along with the capacitors & jack sockets.

The Millennium USA basses have Hipshot USA bridges and the allen wrench size is 1/16".
Swapped the single ply black pickguard off of this one, it ended up on the '92 Fury that got the Thunderbird pickup surgery.
Peavey sold me this pickguard for $8 a couple years ago.

Now THAT is a proper PBass !!! Like Runnerman said, classy ! Something about a white PBass that just fits the overall aesthetic. That black outline makes it !
I do the foam thing, too sometimes when I want to get the Carol Kaye tone.

I generally like the Gen 2 Fury basses over the Gen 3's but this Gen 3 is pretty nice I think, the neck is very stable.
It came with the single ply black guard and it looked like the punk standard (white body with black guard P Bass) but swapping in the three ply white guard turns it into a church bass! I don't go to church.
That is the EMG Geezer P and they are passive...best P pickup I've ever had. My blue Fury has a Geezer in it too.
My favorite was the Dimarzio Model P for a long time, but the EMG GZR has edged it out for my favorite P pickup, the Dimarzio still crushes rocks though.

I just posted two of my basses on the classified. My RJIV, and Millennium 4 Plus purple.
Yes, the bright white Gen 3 neck is a very good feeling neck, and seasonally stable too.
All my Peaveys are two piece bi-laminated necks with brass truss rod nuts and covers.
My blue Gen 2 Fury is a 1990 with a 0471XXXX serial number. Peavey customer service told me it was born in 1990.
The cream white Gen 3 Fury is a 1992 with a 0539XXXX serial number....but that one is Thunder Fury now!
The bright white Gen 3 Fury is 1992 with a 0591XXXX serial number, it must have been late in 1992 because the headstock logos are completely different from the cream one and my 1992 Foundation which are both the same scrolly font.
My Patriot is all stock 1987.
My ash Gen 1 Slant Fury has a 1987 neck on it.
My opinion also. The original pickup didn't sound bad, but it wasn't as quiet as I need. The Geezer P checks all the boxes.

more pics please.The Gen 2 body shape is just really very good, smaller than a P, so lighter.
My mind sees that as the standard for a P bass, so the Fender Precision looks kind of clunky to me now.
The black pearloid looks very good, it looks darker than some.
When I see G&L making trimmed down body sizes from the Precision and the Jazz, it just looks smart....and Peavey did it 30+ years ago!

I asked the seller on Reverb about this bass body and if she had a neck on hand that would be a match, and here is the response I recieved.
(I honestly don’t even know what kind of body this is!! I have sooooo many Peavey Bass/ guitar bodies that have no type of labeling on them. I don’t know what most of them are. If you can tell me what it is I can tell you if I have a neck for it! Any information is greatly appreciated.)
This got my juices flowing as eventually I would love to create some semi-custom builds using Peavey bodies as a starting point...
...so there's my question, what type of Peavey neck will fit this body?

The JD bass is a G-Bass , so it is a 35" scale 21 fret neck. Same as the USA Millennium.
