Color me intrigued, so I went and checked it out. The bass plays great! And sounds just as good. Oh, and did I mention that it has a matching headstock?

It seems to be in great condition with only some minor scuffs that may even buff out a bit. It comes with a case too. Truth is, I'm getting married in 14 days and couldnt me more stokedso I just dont have the $$$. But this is a great pick up for someone

Here's my USA Peavey Foundation 5'er. Just got this off FB Marketplace. It's a 1999 and looks almost brand new. Came with a nice gig bag. Been playing bass since 1969 and this is my first 5'er.

Welcome 60bass ! I'm sure that Foundation sounds killer ! I know for me, the post Super Ferrite Foundations with single coil, passive VFL's sound fantastic and one of the best sounding passive basses I've heard. Perfect for recording and live, (so everything !) due to the lack of annoying 60 cycle hum.
Right?! It was super clean and the fretboard is pristine! The price isn't awful for what it is but I do feel it's a bit high.
Rather its important to start a marriage on a solid foundation I wish, but it's not a need and we just have money tied up right now.
Sorry got a little behind with the numbers. I was migrating everything to a new computer the last couple weeks and the member registry was sitting on my portable hard drive.

That is a rare bird, right there. I forget the official name for that finish...like a champagne color. That's only the second one I've ever seen pop up.

And whoa....is that an ebony board I'm seeing on that thing? Dude, you're on a roll, up your offer! That Foundation is worth more than the gold Fury you just snagged. To me, it's worth at least as much as the Gold Foundation that sold recently for an astonishing $800+ shipping. You'll likely never see another like it. I'm half tempted to grab it myself.
The only caveat I see is the total lack of any info about condition in the description. Pretty lame listing by Musicgoround.

Well....this post pushed me over the edge, I bought it this morning even before I brushed my teeth! I was negotiating for about $100 off asking price, I saw this post and the fact that it was in someone else's cart...a hard quick "CLICK"!
This bass will look pretty sweet next to my Pearl Rose, Sunfire Red and Pearl White custom Foundations, now I'm only missing a Pearl Heather...

Congrats!!! I do suspect its rosewood, not ebony.... my early rosewood Peavey boards are very dark. How would one tell the difference for sure?
