The Modulus misnomer is funny.
However, it will never be nearly as bad as the Leo Fender swap of vibrato and tremolo on his guitars and amps. That has caused an epidemic of misunderstanding.

Mark Garza is FAST. He can have an entire custom bass built for you in 4 months, so a neck is no problem. He's made many necks for friends of mine. He also runs the Lighwave custom shop.
I also own a Garz bass, and it's killer. He's made me a few over the years.

So I got the Steath Palaedium back from Andrew Drake today. Wow, he does great work. The bass was bright red and the previous owner had done a hack fretless conversion.
Andrew patched up the ebony fingerboard, installed mandolin frets, and refinished the bass and headstock in a cool matte black.
He also added Luminlay side markers, a high-mass Klusson bridge, and a fingerboard ramp and truss rod cover made of Richlite.
At the end of the day, it wasn’t cheap, but it was still a bargain for a killer bass like this.
Sorry for the less than stellar pictures. This matte finish is hard to photograph with house lights.

WOW !!! Truly a work of art. From what it was to what it is, seems like a different bass, altogether. Seems like a new bass !!!

This is actually salvaging a messy defret on a screwed up neck, making a fretless. I cut 0.011' slots which will get filled with Purpleheart lines and planed. I have almost nothing in it, and like I said the truss rod is screwed up anyway.
