NICE! I will have to post a photo soon, but only when I get the AXCELERATOR!!!

Thanks ! ! We will be giving her bass the same treatment -Badass II & Bone nut as soon as we put new strings on it. Hers came with color match head stock & chrome tuners, mine has black H/S & tuners. We just bought hers last week .( got lucky with the color match ) { we need a truss rod cover for hers ;) }

What is a fair price for a 1983 t-20? Good condition natural ash body maple fretboard. I am not sure if it includes the orig hard case or not. I found one for sale and I like the look of it and may pick it up. I figured I would run it by you USA peavey pro's first. Thanks.

Guess I'm going to pass on the AXCELERATOR - I have a chance to buy a Peavey Rudy Sarzo signature bass, :cool:
Whats the going average price ? Thoughts on this bass?

One of my customers has one of those Rudy Sarzo sigs. Freakin' sweet! Has anyone out there had a chance to play the Rudy Sarzo Cirrus bass? I imagine it would play just like a standard USA Cirrus, just with the cool cats eyes inlays.

Shrek...

Thanks for understanding I'm not trying to be a dork - just following the rules.

Sarzo - I'd pass.

Price.. $450-800 depending on condition and if it has a case... I'd pass on the purple Sarzos.. I you could score one for ~375 with case, it's worthwhile

If you have a taste for a peavey in this vibe, I'd be suggesting a end era TL5.. you get the same mojo.. lower price.. and a B String.

Or if you're patient.. some Dyna Unities are the very close relative.

There was a bass ALMOST identical to a Sarzo -- was a Verdine White model.

IF you want a "cheap" USA -- an Axcellerator has the same pickups.. a bolt on neck.. and is undervalued/nondiscovered.. some of the plus models had better hardware than any custom shop Peavey I've seen

===

"what to get" is kind of tough unlesss we know what you like/preferences etc.

Value USA Peaveys are still out there - I welcome direct PMs with ad links etc ... I'd love to help you value, ID etc...

Thanks again for understanding.

Whats wrong with purple ?.....This is the actual Sarzo it does come with a case,it was a CList find - - - - including shipping $340. :hyper:

I'll post better pictures when it arrives. :bassist:

The "pass" opinion is Sarzos have a small market & slightly inflated price,

There are under the radar models VERY close for a better budget... it's a nice bass - for some reason some guys post them $$$$ more than comparables.

Purple is a tough resale color.. Normally the Peavey chosen colors work for stage lighting etc.. they sometimes look funky stand alone.

Unfortunately one of the factors is always "what can I sell it for today"

Congrats - sounds like you scored a good deal - if it's nicked and dinged, PM me, I have some blem repair tips.
