Of course that is correct. Let me reiterate: you shouldn't contact an ebay seller to try to complete a sale outside of the platform.
But it is not what I was suggesting.
Since your question was "where can I buy a millennium or a gv body" my answer was the ebay link I provided. You can bid on that item and if you win it will be yours. On a separate note it was mentioned that the seller is also a TB user.

Not on topic but related- Knowing the amount of fees that eBay and reverb collect from sellers, I always try to find their stores via an internet search, if I can, and buy direct. If I can’t find them, they often send business cards and usually coupons with my purchase, w/ encouragement to contact them for future purchases. Reverb is the worst, at least to me, for having hidden fees that you don’t know about until it’s too late.

BTW, thanks for posting that history lesson, Tim (@MNAirHead ). I like Hartley's quote, "To be better by definition you must be different." That is a quote I will steal next time someone disses me. :)

Agreed on all fronts. The seller fees are quite a hit on Reverb.

Reverb seller fees : 5% selling fee + 2.7% + $0.25 per transaction processing fee + shipping label fees - Here is a transaction from last year from a Fernandes Tele bass I sold for $650 , I netted $529 . here's the Reverb breakdown:

For similar reference on ebay, I sold earlier in the year a Yamaha FG-180 for $600+tax (free shipping for the buyer), and my post-fees deposit was $560.82. I shipped separate of ebay and just uploaded the tracking, so that's the whole of what the customer paid ebay, and what ebay paid me.
