Was just on the Rudy Sarzo FB page that they've been working on it for THREE YEARS. Apparently SOMETHING about it is new, it just hit my feed today.
It's selling for $799.00 and comes with a Gig Bag.
I couldn't spot anything that said WHERE it was made. USA or Import?

It's an import. As I recall, the Sarzo Cirrus was US made when first introduced. This recent model with the "powerplate" on the back of the headstock, is made in Asia.

So I'm thinking about giving up my Roscoe and getting a used Peavey (I'm not nuts. I had been debating selling it to reduce debt for a while.) that I played yesterday. $199 for what felt and sounded like a great P bass. I don't know the age but it had a split P type pickup. Red with white guard, maple neck/board. Thin neck like a jazz which I liked.
What kind of luck have you guys had with a Fury. Do they hold up? Can you get "aftermarket" parts?

I had a Fury. Personally I think the Foundation is a better bass. The Fury just never sounded as good and a cheaper feel.

My Fury is awesome. But, I admit that I bought it already having an aftermarket pickup installed. From what others have posted, it seems that some people are totally happy with the stock pickup in their Fury and others prefer to replace the pickup with something else. I don't know if that's because some years had better pickups than others, or if it's just down to the owner's taste.
Fortunately, P pickups are pretty cheap and the Fury will take any regular aftermarket replacement (as far as I know).
If you played one and liked it, then $199 seems like a pretty cheap price to pay, for a good quality, made in America bass.
Furys are great basses, solid as a rock. Totally adaptable to any aftermarket parts.
$199 is an ok price, but there's a Fury at GC online exactly like the bass you described for $119.
Yeah, I've seen them for a little less, but I don't mind paying a little bit more to help support a local business that's been good to me for over 20 years.
That is an excellent sentiment. But even without that consideration, an extra $80 for a bass that you've actually played and liked the sound and feel seems like worthwhile money compared to a mail ordering a used bass from GC.
Yeah. That's true as well. Now I just have to tell myself it's ok to play a $200 bass instead of my custom $3,000 bass. A bit if a step even though I am liking the sound of a passive P these days. Even playing my custom like a P.
It'll probably be easier once you buy the Fury and spend some quality time with it. 
I sold my 3 most expensive basses in the last year or so. A '66 Fender P, a Sadowsky Metro J, and a Peavey B Quad 5. My main basses now are quite a bit less valuable than any of those and I don't miss those expensive ones one bit.

HI i just bought a Peavey Fury out of a pawn shop for $100 i love it.
it was in good shape just dirty from setting for 3 years in this shop.
i like the jazz type neck so much i went to my local music store, ( that is owend my good friend from high school) and traded in my yamaha (with fat neck) on a jazz bass.

I just received my fantastic white Fury, purchased from a TB member. I absolutely LOVE it: great neck, great action, light enough, great tone.
The only problem is that I'm teaching my girlfriend to play: she tried it and now she wants one!
So can I get a number now please?!
