U.S. Peavey Club

To some of us in the UK,of a certain age, Alan's quite well known and respected. I put the PBXN & JBXN in one of my Zodiac DE's,the Duncan's were kinda tame. It was also nice to sell the Duncans, buy the Entwistles ans still have money left over.

It's timely you posting your bass today, Alan used to work for Hohner UK and after they were sold off came back as a consultant to the new company Revelation. Revelation was a Hohner brand. I'm in Glasgow tomorrow and hope to try one of these.

I'm ready to join, might as well have another club number for my sig :).

Scored this 80-something Patriot yesterday for $160, with OHSC. In incredible condition. I'm stoked.

Hard to tell from pic, but it almost looks like yours has a 1.5" neck, I thought patriots were wider like P bass, or first gen fury/t-20.

I can't look at Craigslist anymore, I now have 3 USA peaveys and a financial crisis. However one of them came from one (93 fury)I found on eBay that was priced higher than it should have been for its condition (neck wear puts the fender custom shop heavy relic to shame), after 3 relists I called the pawnshop, was hoping to get it for $50 but couldn't get him lower than $72. The next one cost about double, but being a 91 pinstripe, it had the 5 wire pickup and titan tuners and nicer 3 ply pickguard.

The first was a late 90s/turn of century foundation VFL, looks like someone used the body to tease a shark, and the headstock to break cymbals, but $40 with a case I can't complain.

I still need something with super ferrites, just because.

Yes, yes you do.
Now if I can find someone willing to trade a beat up but functional SF foundation with 2 PC neck for a measly metal muff and soundtank auto wah I would be in business.

None of my basses are odd man out, or have enough lack of sentimental/"I'll never be able to afford one of those again " for me to part with at this time. But I might be convinced to part with some more pedals. What is a Dunlop slash wah/dist worth used?

Metal muff, auto wah, slash wah for a foundation anyone?
