Words... too many... brain spin.... mongo lost...
Translation: Peavey good!
Yup. Too good for me.
I found a turquoise Patriot for 250 about 2 hours away on Craigslist. I’m in talks with the guy on when we can meet up. This will be my first super ferrite. So stoked!
patriot is so under rated
they are awesome
Agree! The Peavey version of my favorite type of P bass... the single coil P.
I have the Patriot 6 -- Mississippi Strat Strangler --
I have had several Patriot basses over the years--- love PEAVEYS!!!!!
At Present my "peavey list"
Reactor AX usa
Predator AX USA
Dyna Unity NEck through P/J passive
Bandit 112 Silverstripe amp---- love that amp
All this TL-Five talk......lovin’ it!
Sweet! I love that walnut finish too. Ideally I’d like to collect a walnut finish Patriot 6 string and a Patriot bass. But no hurry, my office is really crowded.
The walnut finish you refer to is a mahogany body.
Yeah, I almost corrected that.
I love my Patriot. It quickly became my go-to 4 string. The Hipshot extender on the E and the added pickup in the neck position helped make it so. I guess, technically, it could be called a Patriot Plus. haha.
Since we are in a Patriot mood....
That is really smart. It looks to me as though Peavey decided they were going to come up with a bass to take the fight to the Yamaha TRB, and they sure did.
All you dark side Patriot owners with your fancy schmancy pickup rings... some of us are Jedi and don’t need no stinkin’ pickup rings!
Pics of my gal as a 1 and 2 pickup lady. I still haven’t decided on a set of knobs for her.
Looks pretty cool without the rings.
Thanks! Ever thought about making yours into a Rick slayer too?
Briefly, but the bass is in such good original condition and had some history so I'll keep it that way for as long as I own it. But if I could get a second one...more of a fixer upper...I would definitely consider it!
Yeah, the 2nd pickup really looks good on the Patriot. It's almost like they designed it that way, but opted to leave that extra pickup out to make it more of a "budget" model.
I picked up a T45 neck. Thinking about attaching it to the RicRiot. That way I'll have the full 1.75" wide nut, which may enhance the Ric experience.
