Another "rare" model with a 4 year production run![]()
Yeah and the words "Houston" and "rust" would make me run far and fast.
I would've snagged this one a while ago but, I'm just not a fan of burst finishes.
I once bought a bass from a guy in Hawaii. That brought deeper meaning to words like rust and corrosion. I would rather pay a bit more for a cleaner example of this bass.
Hey family. So I'm the guy bidding on the purple Millennium 4 plus on Ebay. It has 5 days to go. I figured I would bid on it now before I forget. So if any of you decide to bid on it we would be bidding against each other and just letting you know FYI. I can't stop any of you from bidding but I really want that bass.

Here's a gorgeous claro walnut 4 that just popped up a few hours ago.
Peavey Cirrus 4-string electric bass guitar
You're correct, Chuck. When I was typing claro walnut my gut was telling me I was wrong, and I completely forgot about wenge. Peavey sure had some beautiful tops. I am so in love with the Cirrus !! I had rehearsal again last night and I always get a joy from my trustee Cirrus. I added the Gotoh drop D tuner so I'm really happy now. The guitar player has to detune for two songs. I just flip a switch.I believe that is a wenge top. It is not walnut. Claro walnut Cirrus were also gloss finish. Here is my claro walnut 6 for comparison:

A lot of my luthier tools that I use for refrets and repairs have come from Philadelphia Luthier, great stuff!I've been buying parts like tuners and knobs from this business in PA. They ship quickly, have good prices and are great to work with.

Also I bought one of these truss rod wrenches off Ebay and it works great on Peavey basses that have a 5/16" truss rod nut. No need to remove tuners to get access with this wrench.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! I want a Cirrus so bad... Wenge, Claro walnut, or any with a Birdseye fretboard! Killing me!Here's a gorgeous claro walnut 4 that just popped up a few hours ago.

Exactly like mine which I got for under 3 but it was an exceptional deal. This one is missing a knob and some rash on the front. Very good otherwise. I'd offer 350 shipped and see if that gets it.Best of luck to you sir. I was thinking of making an offer on this Dyna-bass if it's available down the road. What do the Peavey acolytes have to say?
