Dude ... there's an entire very long thread here on TB on that Quincy Jones business. Suffice it to say, even Q himself disavowed those comments, and countless musicians, bassists, drummers, etc. have weighed in praising the abilities of Paul, Ringo, etc. So, nah.
I added this link to my earlier post, but I guess it was too late for you to see it. So I'll put it here as well. This can be referred to for responses on this issue, plenty of material there:Fair enough regarding the article. It still makes me smile every time I read it.
The Beatles were better at writing great songs than as individual musicians. George was a solid guitar player, but to say Paul was a great bassist is really pushing it, Dude. Famous? Yes? Great? Eh, not so much. He is waaaaay down the list, talent-wise, from the likes of Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, Jack Bruce, Chris Squire, Les Claypool, Flea, and so on...
This will not end well. For a second time.

Quincy Jones says Paul McCartney was the worst bassist he ever heard
No no no…not a 2nd time! The Beatles were so far ahead of their time they were prepared for COVID! Ha!
George always had a cigarette in his mouth.

All right…I posted this photo of John Lennon’s Beatle song list that was taped to his ‘64 Rick currently on display at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
I can read most of the tunes but some I can’t decipher.
Anyone here have good eyes? Ha!
To be fair the edges have deteriorated on the fragile paper.
The symbols below in my list are the garbled songs to me.
Correct my list as necessary. Thx!
