Anybody care to describe what they sound like?
Are we talking like Barbershop/Blueberry? Like a Grizzly? Different?

Love the Youtube demo of this. Can you give a shipping price to the UK please? Thanks
Fifth Gear came in today.
Holy hell.
The low gain sounds are definitely where it shines best, but diming everything can get you pretty close to the synthesizer/bass tone Radiohead use in "Myxomatosis".
I love this pedal and I might need another one.

It's really tempting.Speaking as someone who has a dual Fifth Gear, I will say that yes, yes you do need two.![]()
My original fifth gear seems to move the signal's phase. Does the updated version do this too?
Well, I have no idea, since I don't split/blend my signal. Does your blender have a phase switch? Most of them do, tons and tons of pedals out there flip the phase.
I don't use a blender. It is either a two amp system, or two channels, depending on whether I'm using it for guitar or bass.
Both versions of the Fifth Gear will have a phase inversion.I bet @SouthamptonPdls could answer this question.
Judging by the fact that there's several people talking about doubling up Fifth Gears, perhaps a dual model should be built as a standard? Perhaps as a V1 boosting into a V2?
