But now that i have a stupid grown up job and a house, the full-on vegan thing is back in full effect!
Job & house = good
Eating moldy pizza out of a dumpster = not good.
I think you're on the right track

If I wasn't so lazy as to be a horrible club "manager" I'd do it myself. Care to take the reigns on this one?Maybe we should start a club for Pescetarians. Plus one to your post, and much love for this thread.![]()
If God had wanted us to be vegetarians he would not have made bacon.![]()
If God didn't want us to eat meat, he wouldn't have made cows out of 'em.If God had wanted us to be vegetarians he would not have made bacon.![]()
Just for clarification, we are made of meat too, and Im pretty sure cannibalism is a no-no....God or not.
I'm 26. I've been vegetarian since i was 12 and i've been vegan for roughly half of that time.
Yep... Vegan Straightedge and a Ginger... TB/OT just loves me![]()
The bulk of research (not sponsored by the dairy industry) links milk to a wide variety of serious disease. The China Study is a great read and very comprehensive.
On a more common sense/personal level, if you body is rejecting it (lactose intolerance) it is clear it is especially not a good food for you.
I am vegan except for the occasional cheese. It is a tough give up, and there are addictive substance in cheese (caesonmorphones (sp?)) that some people (like myself) are particularly susceptible to.
Somebody is lying.
How can you go on t.v and say such and such is good for the body if there if proof that it is not?
Does the dairy industry have that much power where they can openly lie to the public?
You know what really troubles me is the fact that all of the advertising and commercial that have the "milk does a body good" etc thrown at the public all day long, when in fact there are studies that suggest other wise.Somebody is lying.

Cows milk is designed by nature for baby cows, not humans. Humans are the only species on the planet that drink the milk of another species.
Almond milk and soy milk are my first choices. I have not drunk milk or eaten cheese or any dairy since 1996 and I am perfectly healthy. My son is 4.5 years old and has never eaten meat or dairy and he's very tall (and healthy) for his age.
i get ticked by the ads suggesting milk is a good source of calcium (which, i believe, is why it does our bodies "good"). i don't think it is a good source of calcium. i have read that the animal proteins acidify our blood thus pulling minerals out of our bodies. yes, there is calcium in cow's milk. but how much assimilation and net gain is there in our bodies?
