i suppose i'll join.
been vegetarian just shy of three years now. i started simply because after a few months of touring the states on a small allowance/per diem, a $5 veggie footlong seemed more appealing than a value meal at McD's. at first it was only gonna be a tour thing, but i stuck with it. also toying with going vegan some day.
Its quite heartbreaking and why I've been vegan since 1996...
Heya veggies! I'd like to play. I've been veg since I was 12. My drummer is also veg, for about a decade. Toyed with vegan but I just love the cheese too much. Cheeeeese.
Cheese is a tough give up. I've gone stretches as a vegan, but have fallen of the wagon for some time know.
Cheese is so difficult - but protein and calcium are lacking without it and the soy alternatives are gross.
Cheese is a poor source of calcium. Don't believe the hype!![]()
Veg. derived calcium is much more easily absorbed by the body.
There is soy cheese? I shudder to think.Cheese is so difficult - but protein and calcium are lacking without it and the soy alternatives are gross. I only buy from companies who are socially responsible too.

Yeah, cheese and eggs are keeping me from going vegan. Most of my weekend breakfasts contain both, and I just love me some good cheese.
I would imagine not. In my experience, Soy _____ really means "this has no qualities that even remotely resemble what we're telling you it should. But, you should like it anyway just because you're a vegetarian." With the exception of soy milk, because it looks like milk. There is...I haven't tried any that is very good.
