It's not bad. Adjustable latency does wonders for this little guy. I'm having trouble monitoring through my computer stereo, though. I think that's a software issue with Cool Edit Pro. Worked fine when I was plugging my headphone out into my computer mic jack in. :shrug: I'm getting there, and it's pretty faithful, no coloration as far as I can tell.

Well, I'm starting the body on my first build today, and once I get it done I'm going to try to organize a GTG so I can get opinions... Maybe a month or so, with any luck.

Anyone interested in a meeting? Probably in Richmond, as a central point.

I've gotten some pretty good responses to setting up a GTG on the 15th of March, but the location is still up in the air. I'm going to start a thread with a poll on location - Hampton Roads or Richmond - and leave it up to vote until March 10th... That'll give us 5 days to figure out how and all that. Make sure when it comes up you get your vote in.

*Edited* Changed the poll length to end on the 29th... 20 days is plenty of time.

(BTW, I always hear it as either "B-more" or "Bald-Eh-M-wah." You have to say the second one fast to get it.)

There's a nice older Ampeg 4x10 that says 200W @ 4 ohms for a really good price right now at the Holland Road (Va Beach) Cash Converters. If you're local and play with less than that, go get it. I would have, but I would sneeze and blow it up.

BTW, stay away from the OLP MM Stingray they've got in there - it's not a good deal for what they want for it.

So what's the word on the GTG is it a go?

It's definitely a go. The location will be decided on the 29th (that's when the poll closes) and the date will be either the 15th or 16th of March, 2008.

The date is sort of dependent on what's best for the people that plan to attend, which sort of hinges on location. Basically, it's all waiting on the poll to close, but it's definitely a go. I may post a week-long poll once the location is decided, just to make it fair and simple.

Don't forget to go and vote, if you haven't. All the members of the "club" haven't weighed in yet.
