Recently got the chance to use my MKII in a live video. Also the sound of the Wal is straight into a JDI and into a Daking preamp.
That Mk1 for sale in Montreal is actually mine. Since getting it a few weeks ago, I fell in love with it, but I've been GASing seriously for a new order to my specs, so one night in a drunken fog I put it up for sale with the intention to order a new one, which I may do regardless, I dunno. I can't afford 2 basses and I wanted this one accounted for before ordering a new one, but the more I play it, the more I grow attached to it, so ideally I'd love to keep both, but I just can't, and I want to know it's sold before putting a deposit down on a new one.
Here's another Mk1 for sale out of the UK, all red gloss with olivewood facings and gold hardware.

That red one has popped up a couple times over the past few years, all at the wrong times for me, I really dig the finish.
Man i am so close to taking the new Wal plunge and it looks like i might me going to England within the next couple of years and would be a good time to visit Paul and pick up my bass personally! Having a hard time deciding on my facings. Went to my wood guy and he had some nice stuff. He has a shelf of bubinga that would blow your mind! Here is some stuff i saw.

I asked him to find me some Canadian Birdseye Maple and within 4 days he sends me these pics!...I would imagine that Paul may like some of this!...i may hold off a bit to see if he can find me some that has a bit more concentration of the BE's....but im pretty sure these are a bit more concentraded than what Paul is putting out now.
These boards are pretty thick...i would imagine you could make alot of facings out of just this lot!!
This is the only spalted maple Wal I've seen, really nice though.
Yea i have seen this pic before. If you also notice it is 1 of 3 that are known to exist that have a custom placement of the neck pup!....i have one of the other ones!
His description says "flame walnut top and back", but the back plate clearly reads shedua, strange oversight.
