Wal Bass Club.

Bass42, big THANK YOU for posting about the Meguiars Scratch X2.0 stuff. I bought a bottle of that today and tested it out on a little beater strat that had a ton of swirls in the paint, called the wife over after working on a six inch square part of the body and even she said "wow, glassy". I have a six month old P bass that had a couple little hairline scratches, and this took them RIGHT out.

LOL !

It's really works ! My Wals and Status are shining like stars /Mirror !

No one bought it, the seller ended the auction.

usually that means, the seller ended the auction because he got an offer he couldn't refuse. I wonder what he got for it? He would've gotten hit with $250 from ebay and almost $200 for paypal if someone did do a buy now. I seriously doubt someone snagged it for $7k though.:eyebrow:

The problem is :

MKII = 3850 pounds
Birdseye maple = 230 pounds
Ebony FB = 150 pounds
It was natural glossed finish ? If yes add 380 pounds

Total = 4610 pounds = U$ 7093 plus Shipping, taxes and 1.5 year waiting list.

So, if it's a mint condition bass, there is a lot of sense that this bass could be sold for 6k to 7k U$. There are more people wanting to buy " MAPLE FACED " 4 strings MKIIs than MKIIs for sale ! Besides this the almost 2 years waiting time causes a lot of anxiety , people prefer to buy an used one than wait 2 years for their dream's custom bass !
