There are probably more Hiscox cases in England than tea bags...among 15 other models that the bass would properly fit into. Tell him to get off his a$$ and find you a case.

Thats what i was thinking. How many pounds do they run. Shipping is still only 100 pounds by bass directs prices. What's the deal. Offer is accepted. Won't let me pay because he didn't want it sold outside the UK

Which bass was the offer accepted on? the red ebay bass or the shedua at Bass Direct?

Since both basses are located in England, I'd see it as an opportunity to have either seller go buy a factory Wal/Hiscox case from Wal and have the bass shipped over in it. I bought a replacement case from Wal and it was 120 pounds.
If they don't want to do that, do what everyone else does with a bolt-on bass, and unbolt the neck and package it all in a smaller box.

The bass direct guy has a case with it. The price for the red one was worth it. Just have to get a fretless neck from somewhere. I liked the PayPal eBay guarantees.

my balanced d'addarios came in. really loving the feel of having all the strings feel about the same. and they've got that light gauge string ping but with more bottom end and booty on the E and A strings.

I always liked the look of the olive ash tops I have seen. The red was a plus. Now it just needs a jet black oiled ebony board so I can go all mick on it.
