I do love that bass...![]()
Having gigged my Mk1 a bit now I am thinking that a nice lightweight Mk3 5 string would be an even-more-beautiful thing. Oh-oh...
I'm slowly trying to convert every 4 string Wal player into becoming 5 string Wal players.![]()
I played a Mk2 5 string once and didn’t like it at the time (even though I was playing other 5 strings). But things change. And the Mk3 is sleek. So it begins...LOL!
In all honesty, why there aren’t as many or more 5ers out there confuses me!
Might as well post some Mk3's

Love the big Mesa cabs
I'm usually not as drawn to "painted basses", but that white body with black headstock looks downright SEXY...
The “rebuild post on the Luthiers’ Corner of Basschat is complete. For those who don’t recall, one of the members had managed to acquire a Pro 1E scratch plate/electronics and a fretless neck with a dodgy fretboard. Andy, one of the amateur makers over there made him a new body a d changed the fretboard. Turned out really nice.
Finished! A Very Special Save
PS the body neck socket makes it really clear that the body is non-original (in case anyone is concerned!).

Sorry I should know this but I don't . Currently at six months into a 36 month build. How long do you have before your specs have to be "set in stone"?

Excellent deal...probably costs the extra for that Certificate of Authenticity.
