Very stable...I think I am going to retire the Flashback....I have a new Lull coming in and a couple dozen other basses that never get played. It is time to start thinning the herd.

Will do, it may just be retired and not sold. I have a lot of other basses that will be sold before this one.

The main thing I am waiting on is my new Lull to come in, if that bass kills I am going to order another one. If I do that I will have to sell off a few pieces to justify the order.

Like I said, this one may just be retired.

RC, for country I use my Lull P-5, USA Lakland DD and JO and my 1963 Jazz basses. I have a problem with hefty basses, so I stick to the bases that don't bother my neck, anything under 8.5 lbs. I have an EBMM Stingray 5 that sounds amazing but I can't play it for very long due to the neck issue (my neck not the bass!). I will probably let that one go first, I'd love to get another Bongo (trades?)...

Ah Ha, that kind of "retire" my Alembic Orion and my 2006 Warwick Dirty Blonde LE BO Thumb are more or less in that status.....I do not take them out and play them much....they are true case queens...

I hear ya about Bongos..I have 2 bongos and the 4 band EQ and 18V pre amp is truly amazing~

So I have a quick question for the fortress footmen.

I recently acquired a fortress one 5 string from a fellow TBer and am curious about the kind of strings you guys use for your fortresses. I just found out that both the GHS and dunlop's low B strings wont fit in the grove right next to the ball end. It appears that I need some kind of taper so that the string can actually go into the grove right next to the ball end. If I try tightening the string, it just pops right out. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and any strings you might recommend for the fortress

An update on "the pickup screw debacle"... Here it is 5 months after I first asked for help on the Warwick forum, and over four months since I placed my order with the NYC shop, and they have not sent me a damn thing, and the shop manager Tyler has not responded to any of my emails asking for an update, and he hasn't been there when I've called. An employee at the shop gave me the email of Warwick USA's VP (Debbie Malave), so I emailed her--and she promises I will get my parts soon.

At this point, as soon as I have installed the new nut and given the bass a basic setup, I will be selling it here.

I posted my fortress pics but they haven't appeared yet but I have a weird fortress apparently it's a fortress one but if it's a fortress one it should be passive active noe I have no idea what passive and active electronics look like but it has mec pups and the serial number dates it to august 93 the number is H-000844-93 help needed:help:

According to the Warwick site Fortress Ones were both available as passive or active ;)

Open the electronics cover on the back - does the bass need a battery? If so, it's active. If not, it's passive. Yes, both versions were available. Anybody got a passive one they'd like to swap electronics out of for an active?
